Call for Submission of Localisation Lab Exercises

At a recent meeting of the LttN, members decided to organise a call for the submission of localisation lab exercises. These exercises will be posted in a password-protected are of this web site, for all members to view and use. The exercises can relate to any aspect of the localisation process.

Members must submit at least one exercise in order to be able to view and use exercises contributed by other members.

What to  Include:

At the very top of the exercise, you should include the following information:

  • Your name and institution
  • The objective of the exercise
  • The technology used during the exercise (names of tools and version numbers)
  • The platforms on which this technology is used (e.g. Windows XP, Word version xxx etc.)
  • The names of any files that should accompany the instructions
  • Any other information that you deem might be useful to somebody else using your lab exercise

How To Submit:

If there are multiple files included in your lab exercise, please zip them all together and attach them to an e-mail.

Send your e-mail to: lttnlabs@tilponline.org

Please include a short description of the objectives of the lab exercise in the body of the e-mail.

DEADLINE:

The deadline for submission is Thursday 30 November. If you cannot make this deadline, but would like to participate, please send an e-mail saying when you will send your lab exercise to info@tilponline.org.
