Educational Background

I hold a BA in English<>Spanish Translation, a BA in English Language Teaching and a BA in English Language and Literature (5-year course of study each) from the University of Córdoba, Argentina. I have attended many translation and interpreting courses in Argentina and abroad, both as lecturer and attendant.

Professional Experience

I have worked in the translation industry both as in-house and freelance translator since 2001. In 2002 I worked for one year in a translation agency in Miami, US, as in-house legal and financial translator, and this gave me the opportunity to experience the internal workings of a translation company. In 2003, I moved to Spain, where I began working as freelance translator. In these years, I have been able to be in contact with the Spanish spoken in Latin America, in the United States and in Spain, which has broaden my linguistic and translation capabilities.

I am a TILP member since 2008 and achieved CLP Level 1 certification in 2008.
