Educational
Background
I studied translation at the School of Modern Languages, Universidad Central de Venezuela - English and French translation. I have also studied interpretation but I do not work as an interpreter.
I´ve also studied Architecture at the School of Architecture, Universidad Simon Bolivar.
Professional
Experience
I have been a free-lance translator for over 20 years. I have plenty experience translating for the oil and gas industry. I have even lived in oil bases all around Venezuela. While I do have plenty of experience in technical subjects, such as telecoms, geology, mechanical engineering, HSE, I have also plenty experience in journalism. I was translator-editor for the Latin American desk of the United
Press International press agency, I was contributor to Clarin, the leading Argentine newspaper, and I'm Pressenza, as translator and editor.
