Educational Background

For my primary, preparatory, and secondary education, I graduated from an English school "Armenian Catholic Sisters School" in Egypt. Being interested in translation and writing, I chose for my BA degree to join Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt (Faculty of Languages [Alsun]). I studied English as my first language and French as my second language. I attended a course on Legal Translation at the American University in Cairo. I have also completed other training course in Business Writing, Technical Writing, Presentation Skills, and Training of Trainer…etc

Professional Experience

I have six-years of experience in localisation and technical writing. Currently, I’m a Senior Technical Writer at Arabize; one of the leading localisation companies in Egypt. I have worked in the translation of several material; Technical, Medical, Legal and Media. I’m also working on material gathering, copywriting and editing for websites and e-governments, training material preparation and session delivery, software manual development, and newcomer’s coaching, and project leading tasks. With the aim of improving my localisation and technical writing skills, I attended TILP CLP certificate and had the chance to participate in the preparation of the local module material.
