The Institute of Localisation Professionals

The Institute of Localisation Professionals (TILP) has the primary aim to develop professional practices in localisation globally. TILP is a non-profit organisation, owned by its members and lead by a Council elected at its Annual General Meeting.

On behalf of TILP, Localisation expert Frank Bergmann will present and debate the following issues with a select audience:

  • Software Architecture Localisation (Java and Web)
  • Localisation Project Management Best Practices
  • Localisation Workflow
  • Localisation Sourcing

Frank Bergmann is a software developer with a wide knowledge and experience of  software architecture and L10N project management. He has an MBA degree from ESADE in Barcelona and has run two translation agencies in the past. Frank is currently developing an open source L10N workflow management system, known as ]project/open[
